(Nashville, Tenn.) October 23, 2013 - Gospel rap group Keno Camp have announced the official release of their new full-length album entitled Riot, due to release January 14, 2014 on Trendency Records and Camp 8. The single "Riot (We Here)" is being released digitally October 29th and will be available on iTunes, AmazonMP3 and other top digital retail sites worldwide.
The lyrically Christ-centered group boldly proclaim "we know rap." Based in the Los Angeles area, Keno Camp shatters the west coast stereotype by incorporating elements of east coast, southern and midwest styles in order to create a sound in line with the most commercially viable artists of today. In order to do so, these young, rising stars teamed up with Zoe4life Studios in Oakland, California to record a cutting-edge collection of songs on par with the finest Christian rap currently has to offer. In a genre where many of the top stars are abandoning a purely Christ-centered message, Keno Camp stands in the gap with a pure message proclaiming Jesus and the message of the cross.
Fresh on the heels of their appearance at the Kingdom Choice Awards in New York City, the group is poised to break through on the Gospel Rap scene. Members Jesus "Chuy" Herrera, Mario Luis "Escort" Herrera, Gabriel "Gabe" Taylor and Terrell "Tee" Sales have been hitting it hard, touring the western portion of the United States with legendary label mates The Gospel Gangstaz and sharing the stage with other well-established artists to as well. Their energetic and captivating live show demands audience participation from everyone in the room.
